As summer rolls on, Neuro has been busy behind the scenes. This release brings some of the most requested features of the year: Stock Allocation Rules to decide exactly which channels get your inventory, proper Shopify exchange handling, and an AI Assistant that builds reports from a plain English description.
Around them sits a long list of integration upgrades across Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, Xero, Sprint Logistics, THG and Temu, and one of our biggest rounds of reliability polish to date. Settle in.
Click to dive into the extended release details.

The heart of this release is control: control over where your stock goes, how exchanges are handled, and how quickly you can pull the report you actually need.
A new area under Settings lets you decide exactly how your available stock is offered to each sales channel. Build priority ordered rules with per channel caps, allocation percentages and low stock buffers, and any channel or product level overrides you already have will continue to take priority.
This means a marketplace spike can no longer drain inventory your webshop needs. A merchant selling on their own webshop and a marketplace can reserve a share of stock for the webshop and cap what the marketplace sees.
When a customer exchanges an item on Shopify, Neuro now creates a separate exchange order linked to its parent. Exchange orders are clearly marked on the order list and detail pages, returned items show as refunded quantities, the parent order's reference is included in webhooks (the automatic updates Neuro sends to your other connected systems), and the exchange is fulfilled like any normal order.
This gives your warehouse a clean, fulfillable exchange order with full traceability back to the original sale, and your team never has to build one by hand. A shopper swaps a medium for a large: the warehouse simply picks and ships it, no manual order creation required.
Report building now has an AI Assistant. Describe the report you want in plain English, review the draft it proposes, then apply it. Existing reports can be changed the same way with "Edit with AI".
This means you no longer need to learn every field of the report form before you can get the data you want. Type "orders from the last 7 days as an xlsx, without the remote order id column", check the draft, and save.
The AI powered SKU matching flow has been rebuilt. Unmatched product counts now reflect only the products that genuinely need matching, the flow is clearer to walk through, and you can choose whether to include already matched products when re-running a match.
This makes onboarding a new channel far less guesswork. After connecting a new channel, run auto match, see exactly how many products still need attention, and re-map a batch the AI got wrong the first time, without touching the ones that were already right.
File based (FTP/SFTP) channels now support much more flexible fulfilment and stock files. Add extra columns from your Neuro data (product title, despatch date, order value with VAT, shipping postcode), add constant value columns (for example a Dispatch Method column that always says "STD"), and delete or reorder columns to match exactly what your retailer's system expects. Stock export files can now include the product title too.
This puts the exact file layout each retailer demands directly in your hands. A supplier feeding Next, Freemans or NBrown can now build the precise file layout each retailer requires from inside Neuro, with no hand editing before upload.

Several of your busiest channel connections have been updated to keep pace with changes on the other end.
Amazon has moved to Amazon's latest Orders API, and DHL Paket has been added as a courier option so its tracking now passes through correctly. Shopify connections have been updated to a current, supported API version, so the "unsupported API version" warning some clients saw is now gone. Etsy stock syncing now uses Etsy's new dedicated inventory endpoints, ahead of Etsy retiring the old method in July. PrestaShop order download and fulfilment submission have been rebuilt for reliability.
Sprint Logistics orders now carry the Amazon original source and order item IDs Sprint needs to print Amazon SFP labels, and fulfilment tracking polling now uses a bounded 30 day window, so one old open order can no longer trigger a flood of unnecessary requests. TikTok Shop warehouse dropdowns now show each warehouse's type and sub-type (for example sales versus return, domestic versus cross-border), so picking the right one is no longer guesswork.
Helm now receives Shopify product options and personalisation notes as tags on the order lines pushed via the plugin.

A collection of smaller improvements that make day to day work in Neuro a little smoother.
Orders without a shipping address are now held back from webhooks and plugins until an update supplies the address, so un-shippable orders no longer land in your fulfilment queue.
Product imports now accept barcodes: the channel product CSV import takes a new barcodes column (comma separated for multiples), so you can backfill barcodes in bulk. Reports can now filter by shipping country, alongside the existing name and email filters. The "None" filter option introduced earlier is now fully supported server-side across list pages wherever it makes sense. The plugin Orders page now lists only the selected plugin's orders with the proper columns, instead of everything synced to any plugin.
App Store pages have been renewed with a cleaner look for browsing and managing installed apps. Theme now defaults to "System", so Neuro follows your device's light or dark preference out of the box, though you can still pick either manually. Password forms across the UI now enforce a minimum length up front with clear inline feedback.

A round of system-wide work makes Neuro faster and more dependable, even where you won't see it directly. Slow order and fulfilment filters were optimised, memory use was reduced across heavy jobs, audit history moved to dedicated storage with long-term retention, logging services were tidied up, internal reviews of the rule engine and THG plugin were completed, and an automated release-testing pipeline now exercises every release before it ships.

This was one of our biggest rounds of stability work to date. Here's what's now more dependable across the board.
A discrepancy that could push higher-than-actual stock and cause overselling has been resolved, and the v2 force stock push tool now works as intended and always pushes the update. Products with auto-sync stock disabled are correctly left alone (Wayfair), Amazon SKUs containing spaces and slashes update correctly again, and inactive Temu products (zero stock) are now downloaded so they stop disappearing from view. Etsy product images import again, and the Unleashed channel no longer sends fulfilment lines for items that aren't on the order.
Fulfilled orders now show as Shipped again when a warehouse renames its shipping method, and fulfilments imported from plugins consistently move orders to Shipped. Kit orders fulfil correctly when the warehouse reports kit components, including Shopify kit lines. eBay orders now carry eBay's ship-by date, Mirakl fulfilments with multiple tracking numbers are sent as separate shipments, and Temu dispatch confirmations with multiple tracking numbers upload correctly. Wilko fulfilments now respect the all-lines-at-once requirement, overlong tracking codes are validated rather than erroring, Spring Global tracking links are no longer missing a slash, and Yodel tracking links now point to the courier's new tracking page.
Shopify orders with 100% discounted items now import instead of failing, and a specific missing Very order case has been identified and resolved. Replacement rules triggered "when sending via webhook" no longer behave as though sent via plugin, stuck Dunelm fulfilments have been cleared, and WooCommerce polling that had silently stopped is fixed with affected orders backfilled. Runaway request floods against WooCommerce stores have also been stopped.
New Xero channels connect again, following an update to Xero's connection permissions, and existing Xero channels save changes properly. AliExpress connection errors have been resolved, Amazon Easy Ship channels can be set up again, and Temu channels using merchant credentials no longer lose them when settings are updated.
Our v1 webhook updates no longer corrupt your order or payment status filters, and the Shopify plugin's max order status validation has been fixed. The error affecting new orders created via the API has been resolved, and large bulk product updates via the API no longer fail with memory errors. Very large report exports are now dramatically faster and no longer produce thousands of empty part files, and a report export that had started erroring has been repaired.
Hosted connection pages for BackMarket now include all required fields, and you're returned to the original tab after connecting on a hosted page. Dark mode has had a round of polish, including the hosted page date picker, and long product titles no longer break the channel product page. Plugin Rules can no longer be saved without a trigger, rule condition values now display consistently, and an error opening the Orders page for stores set up automatically via our API has been fixed, alongside a batch of smaller UI fixes from release testing.

Every adjustment in this release is designed to give your teams more control, more clarity and more time back in the day. Thank you for trusting us with your logistics: from stock allocation to exchanges to reporting, everything here is built to keep your business moving beautifully for you and your customers.
